First Friday Open Mic Night Zoom: NOVEMBER

First Friday Zoom Open Mic for November 2022 is upon us. Join hosts, Larry Power, Logan, Heidi Shear, & Lee Eric Freedman for inspiring spoken word, musical performances and the famous "name your talent" at the best open mic in Swampscott, MA.

Open Mic begins at 7:00 PM EDT and runs until 10:00 PM EDT (United States).

Frogg Corpse is an author, vocalist, and poet from originally from Louisville, Kentucky.  In 1998 Frogg was the youngest member of the International Society of Poets going on to write two lost poems with Pulitzer Prize poet W.D. Snodgrass.

In 2011 Frogg Corpse wrote a memoir titled: “The Mourning Hour” which in 2012 was shown at the London Book Fair. A copy is owned by MTV Jackass star Steve-O. "The Mourning Hour" was recently released by Cajun Mutt Press in October of 2022. 

From 2014-2016 & 2022 Frogg has performed at Louisville’s Gonzofest, an event that celebrates the life and work of writer Hunter S. Thompson.  In 2019 Frogg published a guest blog for 48 Hour Books on the importance of documenting dreams to improve your writing. In 2020 Frogg Corpse participated in an online Poetry Slam held by Spoken Word artist Suli breaks. Frogg also is working on a poetry book with dark artwork by friend and artist Vitaly Ilyn who resides in Sevastopol,Ukraine. In 2022 Frogg Corpse performed in a radio play in partnership with the Jeffersonville Township Library, Company Outcast, and SoIN tourism of Indiana. 

Frogg Corpse has had poetry published by: Cajun Mutt Press, Artifact Nouveau, Necro Magazine, Ponder Savant, Heroin Love Songs, Written Tales Magazine, The Woody Creeker, and Louisville’s LEO Weekly.  

Currently Frogg resides in Clarksville, Indiana tirelessly working on poetry with his artist friends W.D. Pollard, Ron Whitehead, and Vitaly Ilyn.
