Poetry Chapbook Launch - One Port by Claire Keyes

Salem-based publisher Derby Wharf Light Box is hosting a reading and signing of One Port, a collection of 18 dazzling poems by much-admired poet Claire Keyes, Professor Emerita at Salem State University, leader of the Poetry Salon at Abbot Public Library in Marblehead, and author of What Diamonds Can Do and other celebrated books of poems and literary studies.

The poems in the new chapbook have North Shore settings but reverberate into the world beyond and into the heart. Also reading with Claire will be poets Carol Seitchik of Beverly and Clem Schoenebeck of Swampscott.

Reception starts at 5 p.m. Readings start at 5:30 p.m.
