First Friday Open Mic for September, 2021 is upon us. Join hosts, Larry Power, and Lee Eric Freedman for inspiring spoken word, musical performances and the famous "name your talent" at the best open mic in Swampscott, MA.

Our feature this month is Boston, MA based poet & activist, Sarah Vickery. Sarah is a poet and community-builder active in Boston and the North Shore. Her passion is promoting radical inclusivity and expression as an organizer for Boston’s MadFemmePride Meetup Community and as the founder of Zumi’s Open Mic in Ipswich, MA. She found life-changing kinship and support in the Ipswich Poetry Group of which she is the current president and is grateful to ReachArts for connecting artistic communities locally.
